In response to the May class newsletter about the wonderful works of the late Sara Daniels Lambing, classmate Elaine Nimon Cooper dropped us the following note: “Read the article about Sara Daniels and found a few pictures of her from Bond Hill Elementary School. Grade 5, Mr. Landwear's Class. I added another picture she gave me. She is at the top right, I am in the middle of the second row. Lots of Woodward graduates in that picture.”

There were classmates and spouses (and some exes of spouses), teachers and classmates from ‘60 and ’62 – more than 125 in all – celebrating the 45th Reunion of the Woodward Class of 61.
It was great to have Jack Shaw join us for his first-ever class reunion, and his entrance Friday night is unrivaled in class reunion history. Bruce Baum entertained the gathering Saturday night with jokes and magic – Bruce, where was that humor in 1961??
And the teachers’ reminiscences of the class and their years at Woodward make it clear that we should all be grateful to have been – and still be -- a part of the Woodward Class of 61.
So plan now to join everyone for the 50th Reunion. No excuses that we didn’t give you enough warning! |
