45th Reunion – Saturday gala and dinner – Aug. 26, 2006

Saturday at Maketewah was quite elegant, and I continued my talking marathon as I enjoyed the great appetizers and a tasty buffet. I reminisced with Pat Hauss Mankes, Carol Jacobs Bussey and Kris Fellabaum Rotte. We all commented on the attendance of so many teachers, and what a nice surprise to see that even some of their families and spouses joined us.
I noticed that Carol Gellner Levine, Diane Thompson Shilt, Paula Gothard Zalla and Steve Gaible look the same as in 1961 (and so would Bill Stewart if he could get his hair back.J)
I continued ‘Romering’ around the club, and I noticed Tom Lillich and Edlyn Marcuse Simmons taking notes…my goodness…they really take their address searching seriously. There were Buck and Michele Calo Wilkins flitting around faster than Jim and Carol Pearce and Bill and Jane Duning making sure all was ‘in place’ and ‘on time’! By the way, did you have a chance to sign Michele Wilkin’s year book? |

Andy Grant and Bill Curry were also mingling, photoing, and enjoying conversations about past and current events. Please remember…they are OUR most honorable WEBMASTERS!
As the weekend events came to a close, I knew for sure that my high school friendships were--and still are--a pleasant part of my lifestyle. Keep your classmates in your life and join us again in five years.
